Fusion bug

I have had a lot of crashes lately, it was doing anything no rime or reasion to it. most time if I started fusion 2 or 3 times it was fine.

If i did a single start of fusion it would crash every time doing the first what ever to a model be it in the model environment or cam.

I did all the normal stuff check for graphics updates, restart the computer and fusion clear the user catch so on.

Well I found the problem mcafee antivirus, I have removed it from my computer and the bugs have gone.

Hi @daniel_lyall,

I´m out of office right now but I will check the latest CER´s you have been submitting as I get back to Munich

Yes, we do see issue with multiple Antivirus Software and not only blogging Fusion 360 it self.

I´ll keep you updated.

Thanks,

Hi @daniel_lyall,

Thanks for asking about the CER´s.

I could see that certain errors pointing to a Network connection issue and others maybe due to the dual graphics your Laptop is using.

Could you may go into the system settings and disable the nvidia gpu and test Fusion 360 and do the same with the intel gpu?

Just to make sure this is not related to graphics driver issue.

I look forward hearing from you.

Thanks for your help,

Well that did work quite well I ran the machine set to use the nvidia GPU all is good in fusion land, the intel GPU crash first try it includes a crash report CER_143034322

I think i did it properly, I have just double check opened the same file as I did with the intel GPU turned on, with the nvidia GPU turned on the same actions no crash.

fusion is way faster with the computer set to only use the nvidia GPU.
