Fusion 360 Tutorial - Render Tutorial Corrupt

Anonymous
Not applicable

I started to learn Fusion 360 just today and after going through the first four tutorials, I can't seem to access the fifth one on rendering.

I personally started Fusion 360 to learn how to model in a different environment with mechanical aspects but mainly due to the rendering (as I have been using Sketchup+Kerkythea thus far) and would love to get this fixed.

This is the error I get, note the fact that there is no file name.

I would love a solution that does not involve reinstalling (or anything truly unnecessary). Thanks!

Edit: It seems as if the 'Assemble' tutorial is also not working, same situation, not filenane. I don't think a screenshot is necessary.

Second Edit: All the tutorials are corrupt minus the first four, and animation. All with the same prompt as displayed above.

Hi,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I'm sorry that this is happening to you. I'll try to check out why this issue is happening. In the meantime, would you like me to send you all the tutorial files you can't open? If so, just let me know which ones you would like and I'd be more than happy to send them over!

Cheers,

EDIT: Finding the log files, it's 5:3am in the morning, so I didn't catch on so early. Thanks beforehand.

Hi @Anonymous,

Just wanted to let you know that I responded back with a PDF version of the tutorials and included you in a shared project folder with all the models. Hopefully this works for you and if it did, feel free to accept this post as an accepted solution. If not, we will keep working on trying to get this issue resolved and please let me know if you have any more questions. I'm more than happy to help you!

To any users that may be experiencing a similar issue, I'm posting the link below to the PDF tutorials as well as a link to lots of various training modules that also are really helpful.

Hi @James.Youmatz

Thanks for all the help, I personally found the in-built tutorials helpful as it provided step by step instructions with animations which suited the instructions really well.

As I'm having a few problems with memory on my C drive, I may simply reinstall Fusion 360 onto my hard drive and hope that the tutorials work.

With regards, Mikan Lumi (prozwolfstory)

Can there not be a YouTube channel for this stuff? Or maybe some way to download and reinstall tutorial files? My lamp only has a base and a neck.

Hi @Anonymous,

Just to check, are you experiencing the same issue as the other user, or something else? Since my original post, we have changed up our learning site a bit to not only include additional PDF tutorials (different than the in-product ones), but they also have links next to them for YouTube walkthrough videos. Check out the link below!

What tutorial are you working on that only has a base and a neck. Any more information you could give me would be great, and hopefully we can get this resolved quickly so you can get back to learning Fusion 360!

Thanks,
