Good morning everyone ,
I'm doing my thesis in engineering and my professor told me to write to you because the component I made with
topological optimisation on fusion 360 compared to a piece I made on 3D software, following a static analysis (of the two pieces with the same mass and loads applied) the one I made resists more.
in the attached pdf everything is explained, the case in which fusion 'wins' is Case 2, while in Cases 1 and 3, with the same mass, the part made by 3D modelling resists more.
the professor told me that it should be that the part made with topological optimisation is better than mine made in 3D.
but doing the static analysis in two cases this is not the case, can you tell me why?
I hope to receive an answer
