Fusion 360 Render dialogue Depth of field not working

Hi,

my colleague made me notice a couple day back that the DOF is not working, neither in preview mode nor in the actual render. Tried both repair as well as restore options from the service utility.  we're both using M1 Ultra systems, could you kindly check if something got left behind with the last update?  Thanks

Can you share a model, create a screen recording etc.

There have been no other reports of that on this forum, so a bit more information would help.

Thanks for the reply,

I'm attaching a video that shows the issue, Please note how the live render view is not reacting to the "Blur" factor changes, as well as changing the green focus spot is not affecting the real time render.

Also the SCENE SETTING dialog won't remember the Depth of Field activation.

Thanks

Once you've picked  a center of focus and selected  blur level with the slider, disable it without moving the object in the viewport and see what that does.

On mt Windows machine, while I have it enabled it does not show focal blur. Once I have picked a focal point and set a blur level I disable it and then it works.

Do you observe the same?
There is a bug here and I would like to be able to reproduce it and then report it.

Thanks for reporting this, but it's not a mac issue.

The workaround I've found is to turn it off.

While rendering:

1. Turn on depth of field

2. Pick a spot

3. Turn it off

Please confirm the workaround.

Thanks again for reporting this. The issue is now solved and Fusion has an update with the fix in it.

Go to Help > Check for updates (in Fusion).  The new build number is 2601.1.29, which can be confirmed in Help > About.
