fusion 360 printing 2d in actual scale

I tried searching the forum with little (OK, no success).

I want to be able to print full sized templated of 2d faces (1:1 scale of a plan view).  I wish to have a drawing of a part that I can locate inside of an actual item to ensure that it fits.

I have figured out how to transform the 3d object to a 2d drawing and even save it as a PDF or DWG.  But, I can't print it in actual size.

Is there a way of doing this?

thanks

When printing a PDF, there should be an option for Actual Size. This may be dependent on the printer you are using.

In the preview window, you'll note that the print area doesn't cover the entire sheet. This is due to the fact that the sheet size is a B and I'm printing to 8.5 x 11 (A) paper. The sheet size can be set in the Drawing panel of the Fusion 360 preferences. It may help to match the sheet size to the size of the paper you're printing on.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Hello,

I am a hobbist, and would like to learn and use Fusion 360.  I have seen online help, where there is a print button in Fusion 360.  My version is 2.0.3800.  I have uninstalled, and reinstalled, and still no print button.  Please help.  Thank you.

Sincerely,

Bob
