Fusion 360 keeps crashing

Hi Have a similar problem to what has been described. I can't update or delete the component from my design. And the result is always a crash.

Also I just tried a complete reinstall and a colleague experiences the same issue on a independent machine. Seems you have removed the option to export as

I have hi lighted the conflicting part.

I'm on Fusion 2.0.2685, Startup plan.

Any help would be appreciated since we are really stuck... Thanks. Besides the instabilities it's a great piece of software you have created!

Hi,

Welcome to the Fusion forum.

Thanks for posting this.

It's interesting, but your crash reports show 2.0.2681 as the version. Can you check again, we updated last night to 2.0.2685? It's on the ?Help > About dialog.

Also, this may be an old problem, the crash bucket seems to think so. I will need access to the model to reproduce it.  Look for an email from me so you can invite me to the project. We don't have any access to your data unless you invite us.

The golden rule of bugs: if it can be repeated, it can be fixed. Especially crashes. So thanks for letting us know, let's find you a way to keep working.

Thanks,

Well I reinstalled fusion today. I have been battling this problem for a couple of days, so if you can find my crash reports they will probably also show up under the older fusion version.

Got it. It's reproducible. I'll try a workaround and post later today.

The solution (for now) was to roll back the model until the unhappy linked component wasn't in the design anymore. Then redo the design from point. Luckily most of the design work had been done in other linked components.

Thanks for the assistance. And Hope that you manage to identify the problem / or have already solved the problem going forward 🙂
