I just got on the forum to try to figure out why I couldn't Copy a part file. I presume this is why?

I know you guys are working at it but my startup has some huge deadlines to meet. Please get Fusion back up quickly! We really can't afford the down time.

Confusing, but I got an email saying that Fusion 360 was back up yet I don't see the comment when I click the link. What is the status?

Hey Keqing - are you certain. I'm still having trouble Copying a file. I right click and select copy and the window comes up, but it is blank. No project ever shows up.

I'm guessing the last hours work is going down the pan as I have to restart without being able to save, to enable me to save again...

The 'Cloud' really is starting to piss on my chips.

I would have hoped that these kind of outages wouldn't prevent saving locally but sadly no 😞

Pass the salt, I'm going to eat my hat.

Although I couldn't save the file manually, it did save on exit and reopened just fine. All is right with the world again. 🙂

@Trigg3r Glad to hear the issue resolved itself! Not sure if you were in the offline mode when you saw the issue, but you may consider switching to offline mode or exporting an archive file if you bump into this issue again.

Hope that helps!

Thanks,

@innovatenate Thanks for the quick response.  I wasn't in offline mode which is what kind of threw me a little.

Good tip on the Export to Archive though, I always seem forget you can do that. Smiley Frustrated

Hi I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this recent bug, but I can't create a new drawing from a design. Here's the error message I keep receiving. See image attached.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Please help! I need fusion 360 to work desperately!

I'm struggling with Fusion 360 this morning too. My models keep exploding on me. Joints aren't holding when I bring a fully constrained assembly into a higher assembly. When I make minor tweaks in a lower level assembly and then update a higher assembly which contains it, the entire assembly explodes with parts in space all over the screen. I've close and restarted fusion a half dozen times in the last couple hours. Is this related to yesterday's problems?

@Anonymous Welcome to the community! Try the suggestion in the below link to resolve the issue with the drawings.

@Zero__ Your issue sounds like a completely different issue. Most likely it could be resolved by using Assembly > Rigid Group command in the root component. If you need help, try starting a thread specific to your topic and share your design and/or the steps to reproduce the issue. Feel free to tag me @ in the post if you'd like some help.

I hope that helps!

Thanks,

@innovatenate thanks for getting back to me! I'm quite familiar with Rigid Group and unfortunately the problem isn't so simple. My assemblies are fully constrained with Joints so if they are exploding when brought into a higher assembly, there's a more sinister problem at work. If the problem persists I'll create a separate thread.

Fusion is down again starting last night and today Dec. 7th 2016 as of 2pm PST. Earlier today, My open fusion360 status stated "Offline for planned maintenance, back in service 1pm Dec, 7th".

Then at 1:05pm, the status changed to 6pm?. I understand these things happen, but with a complete cloud solution, it's putting a lot of people out. Also, I've told my bosses that Fusion will be back up at 1pm...now it's not?.

It would be nice to have a clear fusion status page so we can get real-time status. I cannot even open Fusion on another station - it hangs on the splash screen.

Regards

@Salient1492,

Have you checked out this thread?  There is a bit more information there regarding the current outage.
