Fusion 360 files gone

Hi, I had a Fusion 360 account last year, a free hobbyist account.  I haven't used or updated any of my files in several months and I'm just now getting back to them.  However, now when I log into my Fusion 360 account, it's like a new account.  All of my saved files are gone.  I even had Autodesk support emailing me thanking me for my new download and account.  I would like to know what happened to my account and my files.

Hi Tyler,

 

Can you please attach your diagnostics log files to this thread?  You can gather them using the command at top right, under the ? drop down.

 

Did you by any chance use a new email address/new account when you returned?

I am using the same email address as previously used to set up the account.  I followed your instructions, see the attached diagnostics.

I hooked up my desktop computer, which was the original install of Fusion 360, to see if my files were still on it.  They aren't there either.  This is very frustrating, that is hours or work gone.

I just did  a test, and I can create and save.

Hi Tyler,

 

Swathi, our hub support person perhaps contacted you by email?

 

She mentioned that your hub was created in Jan13. From that, I gather that you had a hub earlier and you are not hooking to that one but a newer empty one. I know you mentioned that you have not changed your email address/account for us to have created a new hub for you in Jan. Swathi should have got back to you on the thread. Did it move any further?

No I have not heard anything back besides he was looking into it. Yes I
had an account created last year, should've been associated with the same
email. I am hoping you guys can find out what happened to my account and
files.

Hi Tyler,

 

Ah!...looks like our hunch of an earlier hub based on a different email address came true.

 

No worries,...Swathi told me that she is helping you with removing the newer empty hub and changing the email address of the earlier account/hub with the new one. You can do this by visiting https://accounts.autodesk.com , log in to your earlier account and then change the email address to be the new one.
