Fusion 360 Files DIssapearing

I just lost another 2-3 hours of work after saving a project, closing it and moving to another project. When I go back to the first project, the file is gone . The file has simply dissapeared. I have seen similar complaints in other posts, but I have yet to see any indication of a definitive solution for this problem.

Are you sure you saved it? Are you looking in the right folder? Fusion 360 is cloud based, so did you check your A360?

Switch to off line mode and see if the file shows up. Chances are it didn't upload to the cloud or at least at the time you checked it hadn't finished. If the file shows up in off line mode open it and reconnect to the cloud. It should upload automatically but if it doesn't save the file again but this time wait until it shows up in the browser.
