Fusion 360 Dimensioning

How do you modify the dimensioning standards and rules in Fusion 360 so that they follow the ASME Y14.5 standard?  I'm finding that many of the rules from Y14.5 are not being followed by Fusion 360, for example tolerance decimal places, leading and trailing zeros, GD&T, etc.

Thanks for posting!

 

Are you referring to the standards for creating 2D drawings or just dimensioning in general? I'm not sure that the specific dimensioning standards can be changed, however the Unit and Value Display settings within your preferences might get you what want. To access these, click your name in the upper right corner of Fusion 360 and select "Preferences" from the drop down menu.

 

Once the preferences dialog appears, you should click into the Unit and Value Display section on the left side of the window as shown below and make the changes that need to be made.
