fusion 360 compute failed, failed to generate profile as, curves do not precisely overlap

I have an image that I converted to an SVG to open in fusion and then clean it up before extruding and making into the desired 3D shape. I have done this multiple times in the past however this is the first time I am encountering this issue. 

I created a new sketch and then inserted the SVG file from my computer and was immediately prompted with the error message "fusion 360 compute failed, failed to generate profile as, curves do not precisely overlap". I didnt pay much attention to the message and began to clean up the file, however the message still persisted. 

I have deleted alot of lines that are unnecessary and also added a bunch in order to clean it up. However I can not get the error message to go away or I am not even able to extrude the simple shapes that already exist. 

I attached the file in its current state as well as the SVG file that I am using. I have already put a few hours into this and was unsure if continuing would make the problem go away, but also did not want to be doing all the work just for there to be no solution. 

Any advice / assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

1. the sketch is corrupt. This condition remains even after export/import.
2. the SVG can only be used with considerable (extreme) cleanup work. Due to the numerous “dirty elements” and unclean curve guides, I would not make the necessary effort even for my own use.

I harvested the seal from the .PDF then used Project Salvadore. The Seal may be a Vector in the .pdf so I'll check that shortly.

It is indeed a vector within the .pdf but that vector seemed problematic. How about this version?

@csturm423 - did you by any chance scale the SVG on insert? I just created a new Fusion design, inserted the SVG without scaling, and it seems to work OK.  No errors, and I can select profiles just fine:

I've seen this before with SVG.  Sometimes scaling will cause degenerate curves to exist in the sketch.  If you want a different scale factor, I'd recommend extruding first, then scaling the solid afterward.

I did scale the SVG upon opening it in fusion. I needed it to be 103mm in diameter so I created a reference circle turned the lines to construction and then immediately scaled it down to a proper size

I just tried and opened it in Fusion and it is perfect, the profiles pop up immediately and had no error messages.

This is amazing, I also opened this one in Fusion and it is insane how much extra detail was able to be captured. I still need to simplify it for my specific project but this is going to help me tremendously, thank you so much
