Thought this would be easy, how wrong I was.

I am trying to create a funnel-shaped object, I thought it would be a matter of creating circles then pulling them apart at set distances but it doesn't tell you what you need to do to achieve that except in a complicated language I am scratching my head trying to fathom out. My menu has Take off weight which I have no idea what that is and selections I have no idea what they mean except by spending hours reading tutorials I don't understand by the end. All I want to do is take two circles and pull them apart to a set distance then keep doing that until the model is completed.

Anyone got a simple way to do that as I cannot get the form filled in correctly to do the job.

So here are three easy way's to create a cone shaped object.

1. Sketch a circle, extrude it (not-push pull, relly use extrude) and apply a draft by using the angle part of the manipulator. That makes a solid object. Then you can use Modify-> Shell to make a funnel.

2. Sketch a cricle. Create an offset construction plane and create a second circle. Create a loft between the two circles. This also makes a solid cone. Use the Shell tool to make it a funnel.

3. Sketch the crossection of half of the funnel and use the revolve tool to create a funnel.

Have you reveiwed the materiuals in the "Learn" section yet ?

I have been trying for 2 years to get various people to draw this for me but so far I have got nothing and I need to get them done, so as they say, if you cant get someone to do it for you, do it yourself.

That all sounds so easy yet it isn't as you forget to mention all the other gobble-de-**** questions that appear in boxes all over the screen.
I am only doing this because I am being forced too as I cannot get anyone to do it for me that knows what they are doing.
All I want is a set of circles joined up yet it seems easier to understand Quantum Physics.
Anyone willing to quote me an hourly rate for doing the job, you would need to sign an NDA

I am doing this as it wouldn't allow me to reply to the message.
