I'm trying to do a simple extrusion. For some God only knows reason i cannot select the portion I am trying to extrude within the bounds and it keeps trying to extrude the entire face area. I swear I am constantly on the verge of punching my computer screen because of the non-intuitive way Fusion is and it's stupid little idiosyncrasies....

I'm trying to extrude the small area inside of the G in this. it's a sign for my niece. If you look at the other letters you can see the shelf that is formed by the small bounded area but for some reason the area in the G will not extrude the offset...

Sorry,Capture.PNG I don't understand what you are trying to achieve.

is this what you are after?

It looks like this sketch was created with imported curves.  Using some trial and error, I was able to track it down to this curve:

I deleted this curve and replaced it with a native Fusion spline, and it works fine.  Model is attached.  Just another of "the non-intuitive way Fusion is and it's stupid little idiosyncrasies", as you so helpfully put it.

God Bless you....  Yeah, i don't understand why the other ones worked but that on didn't. I have used Autocad variants for over 30 years and Fusion is really testing my patience....
