Hi,
a mapped mesh is a mesh in wichi the physical domain is subdivided into several regular elements (where possible regular hexahedra, otherwise still hexahedra but slightly deformed (depends on the body)). In fusion, when I perform a 3D simulation I can only create a mesh using tetrahedral elements, which have lower accuracy then hexahedral elements (because of the shape function used).
I attached the mesh that I'd like to reply in fusion (the mesh has been created in ansys).
You cannot import volumetric meshes into Fusion 360.
Fusion 360 uses it's own algorithms to mesh BRep geometry (meshes aren't BRep geometry!)
A such if you want to perform simulations in Fusion 360 you are limited to the mesh type Fusion 360 uses.
