Formula Based Feature Pattern

Some background info: I am designing a guitar neck and modeling where to put the fret slots in the fretboard. The below equation is for the placement of these slots.

I would like to create a series of extrusion features based on a pattern with the following formula: d = s – (s / (2 ^ (n / 12)))

Where d is the distance from the origin, s is a static parameter and n is the integer of the pattern occurence (i.e., 1, 2, ..., up to the total number of frets.

Is there a way to do this without additional scripting? I was able to make this happen with a script but am curious if there is any built-in functionality that would be simpler.

The ideal state: I provide the s and n parameters and it makes n rectangular extrudes.

Yes, but make it a Body (or Feature) Pattern rather than a sketch pattern.

s is a reserved name so I used svalue as the variable name.

Edit:  I think I misunderstood the problem description as I was only thinking about the formula that you wrote and not the Design Intent.

Hi,

Patterns are only possible with equal spacing between the elements.

I could have been clearer with the question and attached this picture in the original post. I want something that ends up looking like this:

Without having to make a bunch of different parameters. Basically, a non-linear pattern spacing.
