Fluid path

Hi every body,

I’m currently using Fusion 360 and trying to access the Generative Design workspace.
However, in my installation, the “Fluid Path” study type doesn’t appear when I create a new generative study.

I checked under Preferences Preview Features, but there’s no section for “Generative Design” at all — I only see Simulation, Design, and Electronics.
Because of that, I can’t find or enable “Fluid Path” as shown in official videos and tutorials.

Could you please help me understand:

  1. Why the Fluid Path option doesn’t appear in my Preview Features or study list?

  2. Whether it depends on my license type (I might be using an Educational or Personal version)?

  3. If there’s a way to activate or try this feature temporarily (for example, through a commercial trial)?

Thanks in advance for your help.
I just need to use Fluid Path for an internal fluid simulation inside a cylindrical model that I designed.

Kind regards,
Anderson

Hello @ander341015,

Fluid Path study in Generative Design was available as a preview feature and after careful evaluation of the feedback received from the users, we have concluded that we need to add more improvements to it. Therefore, we have decide to retire the Fluid Path study in Generative Design until we are able to put dedicated efforts towards getting it ready to the level of quality where we can make it commercially available for everyone.

The ability to create new Fluid Path study or solve any existing Fluid Path studies has been removed with the September update of Fusion. Apologies for the incovenience.

Best regards,

Any updates on this?  I think fluid path generative design would be a great addition.
