Hi, I would like to know how to proceed to make a vertical flange on the blue edge knowing that the sheet metal is curved?

It looks like in your screen capture that the edge is straight and not influenced by the curve of the general piece. If so, you probably could just add a standard Flange only the edge. If not, you maybe could Unfold the model, add the Flange and then Refold it.
Hard to tell without seeing the model.

You are correct. I do not see a way of adding the flange using sheet metal tools. I added it using surfaces but even though it is a part of the sheet metal component, it will not function in the Flat Pattern. It also is a good deal of work for one flange. If you want to take a look at the model, such as it is, it is attached.
