Fixing surface bodies

I've messed around with this file for a bit and unable to get a solid body.

Anybody have any other ideas?

This file is directly from the manufacturer website. Every file I get from them is like this some are worse like this one

I just took a look.  if you go into the surface tab and run the Stitch command, you'll see a number of missing faces, highlighted in red

Try patching them with the Patch tool and then stitching together.

There were six gaps, I Patched them and then stitched the whole thing together to get a solid.

Geez I tried doing exactly that. I got PO'd deleted the file and uploaded the original step again and it works just fine, only the new file has 9 patches needed. What I posted was an exported step from the step I uploaded. Would there be a difference? I'll attach the original.  Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
