Fix the design with misalign faces

Hi, newbie to the Fusion 360.

I am creating a fairly complex design with multiple sloping faces. I am struggling with fixing some alignements and would love to get some help!

Here is the example where things are not working too well and are misaligned.

I would be grateful for either:

- instructions on how to fix it

- someone fixing the attached file 🙂

Unexpected results with sliver faces are generated by the chamfer or previous Draft and or Press Pulls leading up to this point of the timeline.

When you learn to do half, and mirror at the end, things will be twice as quick to do.

Move, and Press Pull lose the ties to the sketches,

Fixed as far as I think I can go....

Might help....

Wow; looks much better. although I need to understand better how have you managed to fix it...

But fair enough, still long way for me to get to the decent level in Fusion360 and mirroring seem to be the next step for me to learn.

Thanks again!

Takes a while to find the better tool for the job.

I started over for the taper edge, couple of ways to do it,

I went for the surface option, and using your supplied sketches, what happened to the fluted cylinder, it never came back.

Step up the timeline, for each step, Edit the Feature, to read the settings.

If you ever ever need to use the Move Tool, (should be banned for your first 12 months in Fusion) stop and ask us for the more efficient way to get it done.

Make Fusion do the hard yards, do one and ask Fusion to make the duplicates.

I suggest you learn about all the Extrude tool options.

Happy to answer questions....
