Just for fun, I tried to open one a file using Fusion in a browser using Firefox 57 on Fedora 27, it failed to load. I understand FF57 is not supported, but it would be great to just get past the loading stage to try it out.

Hi

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.  Everything should load no matter which browser you use, so it could be related to something in your design.  Have you tried loading something simple, or even just creating a new design, to compare?  Did you try your problem design in another browser on your Linux machine?

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

Thanks

I had the same results using Chrome, file failed to load. Then I thought it
could be due to Wayland, but it also happens on another machine running
X11, file failed to load in Chrome and FF. However, starting a new design
works in all cases!

So it appears to be something in my design files, I tried several and they
all fail. One thing though, most of the files contain parts that are
imported as .iges, so maybe that is an issue? Is it worth posting an
example file? Or any debugging info I should collect to help?

Hi

Thanks for the iges pointer, I was able to reproduce the issue on my end and have opened a support ticket.

Update

Upon further investigation, it looks like we are serving the wrong error page.

Uploaded iges files will come in with no timeline (Direct Modeling) which the browser does not currently support.  You should be receiving a message indicating this, unfortunately we are instead serving a generic error page.

We are looking into this.

If you create a design in the desktop, then import the iges file, that will open in the browser.

Thanks for your patience.
