Fillet on spline

How custom fillet object? Object is made by extrude spline, I try make full loop but cant, on 3th picture cut sweep disapear

Hi,

1. The profile is probably too wide for the upper part and leads to self-intersections.
2. Is the profile perpendicular to the path?

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

Hi,

As suspected, the problem is the self-intersection of the profile.
The simplest form is achieved like this:

Hi,

Here is a more elaborate procedure:

1. The sweep profile is not perpendicular to the path.
This can be achieved by creating it on a plane on the path.
2. Instead of the "thickening " * I used a thin extrusion.

*The surface element as the basis for the thickening is not to be deleted!

Attached is a substantially more convoluted workflow where i took some creative liberties with the fillet at the pointy tip.
