File Size

Is there a way to see the size of a design file without downloading it?  I was hoping there would be something in the Data Panel or on A360, but I cannot seem to find it.

Hi Josh,

Thank you for posting! As far as I know, we are unable to check the file size in A360 or Data Panel. I'm not sure if you will like this but you can check the size of locally saved files in the location below.

Windows

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<user ID>\W.login

Mac

/Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<user ID>/W.login

I hope this helps!

@masa.minohara,

That would work, but that is not what I was hoping for.  The Library folder is hidden by default on OSX now.  I know how to make it visible, but this seems like a rather convoluted way to be able to see file sizes.  What is more, if the design I want to insert was not created by me, I will not have this information at the outset.

I have made an IdeaStation post for this feature.

Thanks.

Hi everybody,

I have the same question. Is there a new and better way to see the file size?

Thanks,

Josef
