When isolating multiple components (or manually hiding a selection of components), any joints that are not directly contained by a hidden component remain visible. I think it would be more useful to have a joint hide itself when one or both of the components it affects are hidden, and to re-appear when those components are visible again.
For a simple example of what I mean: this sub-component in my design has 2 custom components (for 3D printing), and a large number of imported fittings and other parts:
Currently, when I isolate the custom components, the joint for every imported part remains visible:
This makes it difficult to identify which joints are defining the interaction between only the isolated components. What I would prefer to see is this:
Now only the revolute joint between the base and lid is visible. Doing this manually requires checking and hiding every joint until you find the ones you want to keep. That's very easy in a simple case like the example, but when applied to a design of several hundred instances of over 100 unique components, isolating 20 parts then manually hiding each joint that doesn't directly apply is rather tedious.
