I am new to fusion 360 *and* to CAD, having STOPPED working on a drafting board BEFORE "computer aided design" began. However, I am determined to learn, as I have a number of products to introduce, and would like to do some of the basic designs myself.
The pictures below show my question.
I created the curved and extruded pattern that you see below, and then combined it with a sphere.
I am attempting to cut the extruded volume FROM the sphere, but have so far succeeded in cutting out the sphere, or the combined mass that you see above.
I suspect that the problem may have to do with constraints, or relationships between the objects in question, but I have yet to see how to adjust them so as to remove the mass that is the extruded element (including that which passes through), and leave the sphere.
Thank you in advance for your help.
