Extrude to Object. Multiple Bodies

Hello,

I would like to extrude a profile to the intersection of two other bodies.  I would like this extrude to be a new third body. I would like the extant of the third body to be the faces of the other two bodies.  In the example I drew up for the screenshots, Fusion is only allowing me to select one of the original bodies.  I do not want to merge the original two bodies into one.

Thanks,

Karl Schmidt

Simply use the Split Body command to trim the excess, then either turn off the visibility of the excess or Remove it.

Etfrench,

I was hoping to avoid the extra steps of splitting and removing.  That is going to add a lot to the work flow.  I was hoping I was just not understanding how to use the to object extant properly.

Not if you set up the Extrude from the side. Front as looking at the pic.

Might help....

Yes, I can see where adding 15 seconds per extrude onto the workflow would add a lot.
