In the Patch Mode, pressing the shortcut "e" will bring up an Extrude Command Box but it does not extrude the curve. That is screen shot1. But using the Search Box Shortcut "s" and searching for "e" will bring up an Extrude command box that is the same as selecting the Extrude from the drop down menu. This Extrude Command can Extrude the curve projected to a surface. That is screen shots 2 and 3. So can you either improve the short cuts so they can match up the different modes or cancel the Shortcut "e" in the Patch Mode?
