The recent changes to Fusion are getting really frustrating in the design space. It is now taking huge amount of extra time to complete designs due to having to delete and redo features if modifications are required.
For example. An extruded shape will extrude fine on the first instance. If I go to modify and add a section of the shape that may of been missed on the first try, the extrusion now does not extrude properly. With parts of it that are still selected disappearing, or other random parts which weren't selected becoming extruded.
I had a similar problem with the holes function where if you try to alter the hole sections, they don't show even if selected or disappear.
Hello gunther
I am unable to share the file publicly due to customer.
What I want is for the feature to work correctly!!
Kind regards

Hi,
I can't see any causes in your pictures.
share a sample file instead for reply

Simply do the logical experiment.
Create a dummy file that exhibits the same behavior as your proprietary data.
I am sure there is a logical explanation for the behavior and a logical solution.
I will try.
This has happened on multiple files. Not just this one.
Kind regards
Dan
Are you aware of how to select the regions to build the required shape?,
For some tools, Hold down Cntrl key to add more regions when selecting - not required for Extrude.
Might help….
if I'm understanding what your trying to show with your vid, it looks like a sketch solver issue.
do you have multiple regular type (as opposed to construction type) sketch curves laid on top of each other?
