Hi All,

I have a text file containing design notes which I update as I go along and would really like that integrated into Fusion 360 if I can.

I have found that I can upload a text file to a project and if I double click it, it will open a web page showing information about it and allows me to view it. Then if I click Open In Desktop (I have Desktop Connector installed) it will open the file in my default text editor.

This is great but hardly a streamlined workflow!

What I would like to do is double click the file in Fusion 360 and it goes straight to the local text editor. Can that be configured somehow?

1. Hi Andy, this workflow is not supported in Fusion360 currently, therefore you'll have to use DC for now.

2. If you wish to have an editable document in cloud, you can use Project's wiki functionality in Fusion Team web. But then you won't be able to use your local text editor, nor would it show up in the Fusion360 desktop.
