Extending a simple triangle into a triangle with different corner lengths

Hello,

I hope this is definitely the right place to ask because I got... quite overwhelmed with the options of the topic selection. Yes, I'm new here.

I Really have no idea how to go further from now on and I need to ask.

Is there any way on how I can extrude/loft a solid triangular shape into something that is still triangular but with different corner lengths? I tried lofting but its not quite working how it should.

Trying to connect A and B (and the general shape) to the already solid triangle with the corner C.

Hi! This should be doable using Surface Modeling workflow or Sheet Metal workflow. However, the image can be deceiving. Please share the f3d file here. The forum experts can help take a look.

Many thanks!

I'm not 100% sure what the goal is, but is this something close?

@DragoBruder

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

This will be super simple to demonstrate with your actual file.

Attached is another option other than Loft (Replace Face).

Hi @DragoBruder

Have a look at Fusion RULE #0 that is pinned to the top of the forum. This will

help you get on your way to learning fusion. The Documentation has some

excellent embedded tutorials and the Self Paced Learning will give you some

good practical training about how it all works.

Cheers

Hello,

I sadly was too motivated and tried to make it work. I made a 3 point offset plane and extruded that, cut the extend of it and that was it. When I firstly tried to loft it, it was making one edge angled and I couldn't make it work and got an error otherwise. Though, thanks for all the help!
