Evaluating Fusion 360 - Stress Test

HELLO FORUM FUSION 360

I just looking for a construction program to simulate in theoretical way the usability. I have to create a hanging frame with aluminium-magnesium alloy and have some questions:

– I need to know how many frames I can hanging in one row?

– At what tensile force the frame deforms by how many millimetre?

– How and where does the change affect if I change the thickness, material and bracing on the frame?

– Can I include the different materials, as well as extrusion profile or casting to calculate static process?

Can I do this with Fusion360 and is it the right program for it?

I have experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, AE, but not with a 3D construction program yet and think F360 could be a attractive program for me. I'm very glad for any information and support, please.  I would design some other projects and need a professional program where I can easy test the theory effects.

with compliments

Yes fusion 360 can work for static structural analyses.

Hey j.zbinden, welcome!

You can definitely do what you're describing in Fusion using the Simulation tools. To get started, I recommend going through the adoption portal. It's best to start at the beginning with interface and basic modeling, then go through thew subsequent courses. You could probably skip the "Product Design" and "CAM" modules if these aren't relevant to your work.
