Error when importing design from Tinkercad

Anonymous

Hi,

I have issues attaching design made in Tinkercad in to the Fusion 360, i would like to continue this design on Fusion 360 rather than in Tinkercad. And there seems to be an option to send design to Fusion 360, but i does not work!

Please see attached screenshot about the error i receive when trying to send from Tinkercad to Fusion 360.

This solid designs that you attached has wrong measures compared to the original from Tinkercad.

This issue i faced also with another file before this, it was made with some other software and when i opened it with Fusion 360 it was way bigger than the original...

Did you send this file from tinkercad or did you export this as some file from tinkercad and then open it with Fusion 360?

@Marco.Takx thanks, that's cool, but not very educational for the OP. Depending on what he wants to do with he model he'll run into other problems.

Can you describe to the OP what you did ?

Hi @Anonymous,

I downloaded it as an STL file and imported it into Fusion360

Haven't checked what size it was.

Is it created in Inches?

I have seen some issues in Inches.

For the conversion to solid I did this.
