Error: Product version database locked?

Every time an update is applied I get this error, yet the updates seem to install correctly.  What's the deal?

Until it is resolved, it appears it will not cause any problems.

Yeah, I figured it was a known issue but I didn't find it right away with a search.  It doesn't appear to be causing any problems so not a big deal.  Just thought I would mention it.

Hi,

 

When an update has completed installing, there is a process that gets started to clean-up files (that was in use prior to the appication auto restart).  While this process runs, the application restarts at which point it tries to check for new updates to make sure what got installed is the latest.  There is a timing conflict between these two processes.  It is a benign error and we hope to address it soon.
