Emboss - Specified Depth

When trying to emboss a feature to a curved surface, I am receiving the error "Cannot create emboss feature at specified depth. Adjust depth."

I understand that the reason for receiving this error is due to the lines in the sketch I'm embossing being too close together for the curve they're being applied to. However, when we receive this error, it never gives us the option to actually change the depth.

The only options to change are sketch profiles, faces, tangent chain, and effect. This renders this error truly pointless, unless I'm missing something?

Thanks for your reply.

In example one, Sketch 6, Sketch 7, and Sketch 8 all give me the error when trying to extrude.

In example two, Sketch4 also gives me an error when trying to extrude.

I was able to get this working fine before but everything I seem to be trying no longer makes the error go away.

I've increased the spacing to 3mm (sketch8) and 4mm (sketch9), and I'm still receiving the error. Even if it did work with that spacing, it ruins the effect I'm going for and would really like this to work at 2mm spacing. I've gotten 2mm spacing working on a cylinder with a diameter of 62mm, so it's odd to me that it wouldn't work with a 150mm diameter or 200mm diameter. I've tried so many different sizes and variations that I'm not sure it's even my fault anymore lol. Hoping you can help.

So after hours of this, this is the first time it's actually done anything without an error. I can't use the sketch with it angled like that, but figured I'd share if it helps narrow down what's happening.

I split the sketch into 4 quadrants by simply drawing 4 rectangles over the main sketch I want to emboss. I then embossed one quadrant at a time instead of the whole sketch profile. Now it's working without any errors. So, really, it looks like this isn't my fault but Fusion struggling to handle the amount of lines in the sketch and then not giving me a relevant error to let me know this is the case.

Thanks, I was having the same problem. Splitting into quadrants and embossing one at a time worked.
