Hello,

I'm trying to use Revision control on parts with the manage Extension.

I'm not sure if I'm working fin,e but in the case I achieved to appove a design and get the part locked, on REV A
I'm wondering how to unlock it in order to make a change and update as REV "B"
If I edit and save it and I get a v2 but can't fin how to get Rev B.

you have a part in revA > simply go ahead and make your changes > save > part is saved as new version but the rev remains same > now go to Manage tool bar > select Release with change order > Complete the Change Order process > once approved, the part will now show up as revB

Hello,

Ok it's fine,

Itès working now as it is supposed to be, as you say it.

we have had to fix some issue with out corporate environment to make it running fine.

My point now is that I'm finding strange that it is possible to anyone to place in an assembly a non revised parts in a "working" state.

I would prefer if a part is being edited by someone, have an alert and a choice to place the last temporary version or the revised one.

but for now, even if you can do it (without the warning) when saving your assy, the software force you to update to last version of the edited parts.

Many thanks
