Edit joint problem

Hi All!

faced with such a problem - edit joint not possible for components vs holes. One component of two was lost reference to hole...

To test, I created a simple project (see below).

Option 1:

Create Component:1>create cylinder> create Component:2>create cylinder>create sketch at the cylinder surface> place point>create hole at the point>create joint (rigid or revolve does not matter) between Component:1(center of the cylinder) and holes of te Component:2.

After creating joint is possible to edit it with no problem.

Also joint can edit if I create hole without sketch.

Option 2:

Create Component:1>create cylinder> create Component:2>create cylinder>create sketch at the cylinder surface> place two (or more) points>create two (or more) holes at the points>create joint (rigid or revolve does not matter) between Component:1(center of the cylinder) and one of the holes of the Component:2.

After i try to edit the joint - it is impossible. Link with the hole is lost - button "Select" indicate red arrow.

Сan somebody check it or recommend another way to joint components through the holes?
I think it started after last update of the Fusion 360.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

Any news on the second issue?

I have recently encountered the same problem. After some work in Fusion some of the joints in project are not editable. Not all of them. There are no errors or warnings displayed. Joints do work fine, but you just can't edit them.

I see that main topic was marked as solved, but the second problem still stands.

I was wondering if is there a fix for it?

It seems even with two simple cubes joined within a component assembly produce a broken joint.

I'm having the exact same issue across multiple assemblies as @Anonymous

I've been facing this for a year.

Normally, I just delete joint and re-create new joint.

I suspect that it is only happened to a joint in sub-assembly.

Hello,

Here is more recent topic:

This issue has been recognized as a bug and registered.

I haven't had the issue for months. But when I did the cure seemed to be to
use the tertiary selection to fully define the joint within 1 joint. When I
did it 3 joints it failed to remember my selections.

No don'the stop working on drafting or CAM please! I need internal
threading badly.

Cheers,
Todd

Follow-up:  This bug (and a bunch of other related joint-editing bugs) has been fixed in our internal builds.  We hope to get this fix out in the next update.  We apologize for the disruption, and appreciate everyone being willing to share their data with us to help us fix this.
