Edit Feature in Timeline does not work for Move

When I edit most features in my timeline, I can change the parameters I entered. However, if I do a Move/Copy, the dialog box is displayed with zeroes in the move distance boxes (X, Y, Z), not the values I entered when I first did the Move. If I enter new values, it moves the body to a new place, it doesn't allow me to edit my previous move.

Is this by design? Am I missing something?

Hi Julian,

You are not missing anything.
Move/Copy is not a parametric feature. It is always set to zero after every move.

It is certainly shown in my timeline. I can right click it and select "edit feature", just like other timeline entries.

If it isn't possible to edit a Move, is there another way to move a body that will allow later editing?

Tee are 5 different sub tools in the Move dialogue of which at least 2 are parametric. Many people pick the first, which is not parametric.

Thank you so much. I was able to edit the Moves in my timeline and change them to a parametric version. Really helpful.

I think these two need to be highlighted in UI  - I've been working around the thought that moves could not be parametric.  Whole new workflow now that I know this!  Thank you
