DXF layers toggle

I was able to import a DXF file with multiple layers. A dialogue box appears and gives me the option to turn on/ off layers, this is great. 

What I am looking for is the ability to return to this dialogue box and change the layer selections to work on a different manufacturing process for this new layer.

You will not be able to return the the DXF import to select sketches on a different layer but you can choose to create a unique sketch for each layer during the original import.  If you do not need the sketch later, you can simply delete it.
