DXF Export: Splines not visible in CorelDraw

Hey,

I just exported a sketch as a DXF and wanted to open it in Corel draw to do layers for lasercuttung.

CorelDraw (latest Version 21.2.0.706) doesnt recognize the splines. Done some testing with sketches with only a single spline and Corel wont recognize either FitPoint or Control Splines but all lines and circles etc are displayed as usual.

Any ideas?

I found a workaround by importing the dxf into Adobe Illustrator where they display fine and export again as a DXF. This file opens without any problem in Corel but it´s a very inconvinient workflow.

Awesome! Thank you for this little plugin. LIFE SAVER!

Here's who we use it.

Our Solution

First make sure you have updated Corel, I updated my X8 version with these

https://www.coreldraw.com/en/support/updates/#cdgs-x8

Second, go download this Fusion plugin

https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=4611814297957846949&appLang=en&os=Win64&autostar...

This will allow you to export DXF as polylines

Third, import your DXF

The polylines typically have a ton of nodes on them. Follow this step by step to reduce the nodes
