From what I gathered from that was that when you upload a dxf you are seeing white dots between all the lines? If so, a lot of dxfs I upload have the same issues. All I do is connect the dots with lines or move the lines to where the dots on the end of the lines connect. Depending on what program you use to make the dxf, some lines go awry when uploading into fusion.
I just sketched up something quickly that has no purpose or relevance. This is just my imagination at work but are these the nodes you are seeing? If so, this is what I am describing as in order to extrude each individual piece, you have to connect all the lines to where there are no gaps. The dots at the end of the lines indicate that the lines are not fully connected. This can be solved by extending the lines or using constraints. I always notice these when working with radii.
thx for the reply, yes that is what I get when I upload but I do check to see if there are connected and they are, I did get a reply that those are points and to turn then off in edit sketch and select sketch palette points.
and it work so thx very
I know sometimes they look connected but they aren't connect to one another if that dot appears. A lot of time what I have to do is go back in and erase the radii and redraw them. There may be a quicker fix but I haven't found one. The only time this is necessary is if you are making a 3D model from a dxf. If not, then there is no need to go in and redraw the radii. You can just go in and turn off sketch palette points as you said.
