I'm a Robot structural user but to design some specific elements, I might need to run some simulations on fusion.
I modelled an RHS bar and the displacement is different from that given theoretically (dmax = 5/384 PL^4 / EI) for simply supported elements for a distributed load.
What am I missing? Did this happen to someone else?
In Robot Structural Analysis (also from Autodesk) the displacement is the same as given by the formula written above.
