Drawn Date attribute not updating in configured drawing

I created a model of a workbench using parameters for all dimensions and a detailed drawing for it with 8 sheets. I then decided to convert it to a configured model so I could adjust the size of the bench and see the changes . I realize that a drawing can only have one configuration (as I understand it anyway) . When I update the model for the original configuration that the drawing was created from, the "drawn date" is not updating in the title block of the drawing for that configuration. Other attributes like drawing name and the dimensions are updating correctly, just the date that is stuck on the date I converted it to a configured design even though I have made several changes to the design over several days. Anyone know how to fix this behavior?

I should also mention that I created a new dummy design from the same configuration that the drawing that has the title block problem, and it has the current revision date for the "drawn date" attribute so this tells me that the model has the correct date associated with it.

Hi @patl1

Welcome to the forums.

“drawn date” is a drawing specific attribute property. It’s the date that the 2D drawing was created, it’s not linked to the model.

Thank you. I guess that makes sense from the name itself (duh?). I was
hoping for an attribute to show the last time a drawing was changed as part
of a simpler rev control rather than the model revs which change every time
I save a change to the CAM but don't affect the CAD side (i.e. dimensions). Guess I'll have to manually type it in on all the sheets

Is there a solution for this without the Manage Extension?

Sure.

A MODIFIED_DATE attribute would be helpful.

Examples from Rhino:

%<Date("d.M.yyyy")>%

%<DateModified("d.M.yyyy")>%

Hi @mcdZPKHQ

While you wait. Take a look at this date option. Note that it would need testing and is not officially supported. https://clintbrown.co.uk/2023/07/25/fusion-360-drawings-last-save-date/

When I create new pages in an old drawing the "drawn date" on the new page doesn't reflect the date it was created --is this by design?
