Drawings sheet size

OK, Luke, deep breaths...

Hi Fusion team,

How do I change the sheet size in Drawings? It appears to be a borderless B sheet by default and my printer only does A sheets. I'm just trying to print out a scale projection of a part.

Thanks,

Luke

The sheet sizes for drawings can be set in the preferences.  We support A portrait and landscape.  Is this what you were looking for?

Cool! Thanks. No way to set it for each drawing though, right?

Hi Luke,

The preferences Prabakar describes above will set the default size for all newly created drawings.  To set the size to something other than the default on a specific drawing, once in the drawing, select "Drawing Settings" in the file menu and change it there.  We are working on some usability improvements in this area to make it more discoverable.

Thanks,

Hello,

I am sorry for reviving this thread, but Fusion wont let me change the drawing sheet size.

If I go to the drawing options it lets me change if I either want to use ISO or ASME and mm or inch,

but the dropdownmenu for the sheet size is greyed out.

Can I change this somehow?

If it matters: I use the german version of Fusion 360.

Greetings,

Julien

Hi Julien,

If you change the Standard from Inherit from design to ISO or ASME, that control will enable with the appropriate list of sizes (ISO or ANSI).

If you always use one Standard, you can set this in Preferences and select the sheet size you want to use by default (this can be changed when you create a new drawing).  If you work in a mixed environment (ISO/ASME) you can select your standard > Apply then switch back to Inherit from Design and Apply/Close.  Then that will be the default size used when you use a certain standard (this will be based on the units in the design, mm or in.).

Thanks,
Chris

Looks like this has been changed since this thread was answered. The file menu does not contain "Drawing Settings"

Edit: I found it... its now at the bottom of the page, by the view settings

Chris

Can I sent the drawing size to a custom, like the size of my laser cutter bed so as to maximize items and such?

I can't find a way to alter it, is there way I could upload my custom sheet size to a database or alter my fusion database with my custom sheet size?

Maybe it's moved yet again. I can't find where to change the size of an existing drawing.

I do not see that button on my version of Fusion 360 (only see the Pan, Zoom Window, and Fit buttons). Has it moved again?

I am using Fusion 360 (v2.0.9011) with a personal license.
