Drawings of assembly components not aligned

Hi,

I want to create a set of drawings of an assembly - with sub assemblies and components. I have used an automatic template. The first level assembly is fine with the BOM and represents the view last saved in the design environment. My problem is with the sub assembly - if the sub assembly is not aligned in the design environment the drawing views are not aligned to x,y,z axis. See pdf sheet 5 onwards.

I could align one of the legs but the linkages will still be a problem down the line.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Pete

Please attach your Fusion 360 model to a reply post.  PDF are good visuals but do not help explain the issue.  I think what you are looking for are Named Views which can be used to define the required view in the 2D Drawing.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

You do not seem to want to share your model so I will use one of mine to demonstrate the use of Named Views which I believe will solve your issue.  The process of creating and using a Named View is shown in the video.
