Drawing Storyboard View Not Updating Correctly

I've created a drawing for a waste enclosure and then made a drawing for it for manufacturing as well. I had to replace the bottom panel with a new one, but now the new component isn't rendering in the storyboard view. However, it does show up in the shaded versions of the storyboard. Just not in the colorless views. I can toggle between the visual styles and the bottom will appear and disappear regardless of the visibility toggle or checkbox in the browser. In fact, I can even show both versions simultaneously by creating two views linked to the same instance, as shown in the included image. The component is selected in the browser, highlighting the left and center views. Only one of which shows the bottom. However, if I create a new instance of the storyboard, the bottom shown up again. This is shown on the right side of the image.

I can resolve the issue for now by replacing the instance and setting new balloon pointers, but I would still like to know if there is a way to fix it without redoing things. Especially for more complex models in the future.

Hi! It could be due to some sort of corruption. Without seeing the files, it is impossible to tell. Please share your design here. The forum experts can help take a look.

I opened the malfunctioning version again to create an export for you to look at, but in creating the branch it also fixed the error. So I guess that's another way to fix it, just duplicate the file and then reload it. It still shows as invisible when you open the file, but just toggling visibility brings it back without issue or needing to update the reference version. If I go back to an earlier version before I had updated the link and then create the branch, the problem seems to be repeatable though. I'm not sure if this will work but let me know if you need a different method to view it and be able to try updating the link yourself to see if it does the same thing for you as it does for me. I've created a copy of both the design and drawing files so there shouldn't be any concerns messing with the files. Also, you can ignore the "proprietary and confidential" part. That's left over from the template, these are not sensitive files.

Thanks for sharing the design. It is a healthy dataset. Let's do more testing and check if we can reproduce the issue consistently.

There is a general workaround to reload the invisible file, as you said, turn off/on the visibility/suppression status in drawing browser will reload the files.

It seems to be repeatable with this file at least.
