There's probably an easy solution to this question, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

I have a component, which I would like to create a 1-1 drawing for, so I can then transfer it over as a wood template. The component in question can be found below:

Template.PNG

To create the drawing, I right click the component, and select 'Create Drawing'. The problem is, I cannot get a flat drawing from this component. For example, to create the drawing, I use the following options:

Export.PNG

This results in the following drawing, and main reason for this post.

The drawing does not appear at scale, and is at an angle. I've tried multiple orientations in the drop down, but can't seem to get the desired result. My goal of all this is to get a flat 1-1 drawing, which I can then print on paper, and tape to a piece of wood, to make a template.

I am certainly new to all of this, so there may be a few steps that I've missed to get the desired results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The project link can be found below for reference:

Thanks!

I ended up finding a solution on the forums. If anyone else ends up in a similar situation, the solution is to create a custom view for your component, and use that is the base view in the drawing:
