Draft angle error

Hello,

I'm getting an error when applying a draft angle. It works earlier in the timeline, and I cant figure out how to resolve it. I want to do it as the latest operation before I apply some fillets.
Any ideas?

Hi! The two set of draft faces seem to be perpendicular to each other. I suspect the one of the set's normal direction is parallel to the pull direction. Please elaborate the pull direction and also the intended draft faces.

Many thanks!

Thanks for the reply Johnson.
Attached are 3 images;

3.9.1  shows the pull direction (straight down. Perpendicular to the bottom.
3.9.2 shows the first selection of faces to which I can apply a -2 degree draft without issue
3.9.3 shows the second selection of faces which causes the error when I try applying a -2 degree draft.

I can apply a draft to this "problem face" without issue earlier on in the timeline, but after a join modification, it begins to give an error.

I think I replied to myself instead of you. I have included more pictures and descriptions for you 🙂

Hi Adam,

I have confirmed the Draft failure. I suspect some of the short edges and tangency conditions led to the failure. Instead of using Draft command, you may use Ruled Surface command to create angled surfaces. Then use Boundary Fill command to join the bodies. Please take a look at attached file.

Many thanks!
