Does a Revolute joint freeze upon entering into a Rigid group?...

Hi, all-

...If so, how do you get around this?

I need to move a swing arm (an inch toward the rear), and created a rigid group to get all related components to go with it.

Seemed fine, except the kick stand will not swing up/down anymore (revolute joint)...and I cannot figure out how/what/why.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

This should be OK.  The only problem that I can see is if you mistakenly selected both sides of the revolute joint to be in the rigid group.  If so, though, you should see a warning similar to this one:

And, as @Beyondforce says, if you share your design, we'd all be happy to take a look at it.

I futzed around with it, un-doing the mechanics of it--then re-doing it all. And it worked. Yes, I did the exact things and it worked the second time.

I cannot explain why. Frustrating, for sure.
