Hi,

when assembly becomes very complex, it should be fine to be able to save some show/hide settings in order to speed some manipulations.

even if it's easy to click ion the visibility eye icon, it may be boring in some circumstances...
using selection sets may help a little, but a real tool to save/restore visibility states would help (also masking hidden files from the tree could make it also a little more readable but it's needed to find a way to show to the user that some parts are hidden (color or a particular folder which contains all the hidden parts/components).

it may help in some cases...
But I was looking a solution for more complex multi-level assemblies, where you want to hide some Components, or sub-assemblies for a more permanent way, and savable/restorable...

something like "visibility layer states" in Photoshop if it could make sense for you.

There is nothing like this in Fusion today.  Inventor has "View Representations" which let you manage visibility (and other view attributes).  Selection sets + the "v" hotkey is as close as it comes, sorry.
