Discrete Deflection Values On A Beam?

I have modeled and analyzed a complex beam.  I would now like to obtain discrete values of deflection along the length of the beam.  Is there a way to generate a table of deflection vales or a way to manually query values at specific points on the deflection curve?

My question seems to have been asked earlier (10-14-2018) in an unresolved post entitled “How to obtain values of deflection along the length of a simply supported beam?”

Hi @martin.neunzert,

We've have the request in our backlog as ID-50026 for quite some time: Extract Sim result values along an edge / curve (support case #15344052)

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention since we can use your 'vote' to bump up the priority.  Also, thank you for finding the other post that mentions the request.

Since there's no tabular output for now there is a way you can extract the values at specific (x,y,z) points of interest using our Point Probe Tool in the Inspect panel in the Results tab:

Hope this helps!

Yes, this gets me what I need!  Pulling points off manually is a bit fiddly but with proper planning of the coordinates in the beam design, it goes pretty quickly.
