Disappearing Components 240227

Hello F360 forum,

When the Parent Component, which contains two Components,
is clicked on in the Fusion Browser both of the Components can be seen.
But clicking away from the Parent Component causes both
of the Child Components to disappear.

Clicking on Child Component 1 makes it
reappear, but Child Component 2 cannot be seen.

Clicking on Child Component 2 makes it
reappear, but Child Component 1 cannot be seen.

How does one see both of the Child Components
at the same time so one of the Child Components
can be moved to desired proximity to the other?

Thanks.

you have the opacity of both Tube and Tube_2 set to a very small number, which is why they cannot be "seen" (they are there, just highly transparent).  Change that to 100%, and you can see them.

Hello Jeff Strater and the F360 forum,

Grateful shout out to Mr. Strater for the excellent
video.
The Opacity Control was changed to 100% for
Tube 1 and Tube 2.
Am experiencing some difficulty replicating
the result shown in the video.
When Tube 1 is clicked Tube 2 becomes
very feint and conversely, jpg attached,
How does one get both tubes to be
plainly visible as shown in the video
as opposed to very transparent as
shown in the attached image?
Have studied the video several
times trying to figure how the
settings for the Components in the video are
different from the Components in the
jpg.
Something must be missing but not sure
what it is.
Thanks.

Hello Jeff Strater and the F360 forum,

Some how the opacity of the tubes kicked in.
Elation for the success is tempered by the
fact that it is not known why, after setting
the Opacity Control to 100% the tubes
remained transparent until suddenly
they became opaque.
Maybe the autosave or something
else made the difference.

The other thing that is a bit disconcerting
is that when one goes to  Opacity Control
the drop down does not show what the
chosen opacity is. And so, when one
goes back to check the opacity there
is no value shown as the present opacity.

The model is presently in the desired
state.

Thanks for your time and courtesy.
